The Most Energizing Smoothie with CBD

Some of you may remember the live video on Instagram I did a week back on how to make a delicious energizing smoothie. 

Well, I promised last week that I'd make a blog post on the ingredients that I used in order to make it. Unfortunately, the smoothie was SO GOOD, that I forgot to take any pictures, aka evidence of the smoothie I made!


I guess that’s what happens when you're super hungry and just finish it in 5 seconds. 


So, this morning I got around to finally documenting and I’m ready to share this recipe.


I more often than not hold off eating a large amount of food before noon. I usually don’t have a big appetite before then, but on the days I’m really hungry in the morning, I definitely listen to my body and give it what it wants. 


However, on most days, I either have this smoothie, or I just have a little bit of fruit with lemon water. 


I find it’s always nice to eat or drink something that is detoxing in the morning to start my day with energy, free of sluggishness that solid food sometimes gives me. 


Ok, let’s get into this!


The ingredients to this smoothie are pretty simple.  Here’s a screenshot below. 

This smoothie is packed with amazing health benefits, lets go over some of the essential ingredients that make this smoothie so good.



Is packed with antioxidants, including the powerful EGCg! It also boosts metabolism and helps you burn more calories.  It’s an effective and all natural detoxifier.

What’s amazing about Matcha is that it helps to calm your mind and relax your body while at the same time enhancing your mood and aiding in your concentration. 

It’s perfect for either working at your desk and being at your highest efficiency level or going to the gym and pumping out an amazing workout.  And lastly, Matcha is so rich in fiber, chlorophyll and vitamins!

One of the major benefits of flaxseeds is that it's rich in Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are the good kind of fat that you want to be ingesting!

Chia seeds are great in smoothies because it helps to make you feel more full, without having to consume a lot of food. 

They actually expand in your belly once you ingest them, making you feel full, eat less, and ultimately help you shed some pounds.


Vurdo CBD

Taking a small amount of CBD during the day, approximately ¼ to half a dropper can make you feel more focused and energized.

- 1 to 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk (depending on our liquidy or thick you prefer your smoothies.  I like mine to be on the runnier side)

- 1 banana

- 1 full teaspoon of matcha

        -> Tip: whisk the matcha before hand to get any clumps out since its a powder. This method will also enhance the flavour of the matcha in the smoothie.


- 2 full teaspoons of chia seeds

- 2 full teaspoons of flaxseeds

- 1/4 to 1/2 of a dropper of CBD
